Week 4

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! As I mentionned it last week, this is back to normal life. Although

Some changes happened. First of all, I now have a different job! I had a part-time position at a Panera Bread as a cashier. I've worked there for 6 months now, but the issue with the job was the distance. I did 40 minutes drive to go there. Yes, you read it right. 40 minutes! Many questions are probably coming into your mind: "Why so far away just for a part-time job?" "Weren't there any other options?" "Is it maybe because you have friends/family there? or "The pay might be excellent then, was it?". To all of these, I respectively answer: At the time, I was almost desperate about working, and they were the first ones to reply - within a day I have to be honest, it was surprising; Of course, many options were available and yet I felt that at the time, whenever I tried there was "an issue" with my application apparently (I've never figured out what that possibly could have been); No; and lastly, not really but for me, it was good enough. Just as I said earlier, I was a cashier there and the time I spent working at that location was great. Many of my coworkers were either high-school sophomores till senior college students. Having people around my age (I'm 19 btw) was actually a great opportunity to socialize with people. And so I made myself several friends and I had fun working there. But now, after all this time, I needed to look for a closer place to work. Therefore, I filled out numerous applications for different places and I finally made it. I got myself another job at a cafe next to where I live. It is literally 15 minutes away. It is great and I'll be starting next week. I'm excited about it. So stay chill and see you next week!

Week 3

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! As for me, we came back from our wedding in England and it was great. The hardest part is coming back from holidays, and living your normal life again... But one thing is that I definitely missed my home so therefore, it's not that bad being back. Another big reason I want to add before I forget is the weather. Oh boy, the weather was terrible. Now I need to clarify, what I mean by bad weather is that most of the days we spent were barely hot. I had to wear hoodies. Yes. During summer. I had. To wear. HOODIES!!! . Oh boy, I cannot explain how disappointed I was at the end. Now of course, you could tell "Well you should've watched the weather before leaving and taken appropriate clothes before leaving." To that I agree. But I still wanted so badly to wear my shorts that I took some with me. And by the time we came back, there were just lying there, in my suitcase waiting and staring at me. I felt terrible. But now that I'm back, I can freely rock them every day! Aside from that, nothing crazy happened to me this week. And, oh. I need to go eat now. At the time I'm writing this, it is almost 9:30 pm and I'm getting late. So stay chill and see you next week!

Week 2

Hello everyone! This week was totally awesome! I went on a short vacation to Watford in England to visit some family but more importantly for my cousin's marriage. So my family and I left on June 2nd, and for the very first time, we landed in England. It was surprising as I felt everything was compact and small in comparison to the US. We mainly visited family but also London for the first time. It was the occasion for me to take some pictures - (that you guys can look into the Image Gallery). To be honest, the day we went to London, the weather was really bad. The entire day was cloudy and at the time we did the river cruise, heavy winds shook our boat. It started being really uncomfortable but the rest of the day went smoothly. We hopped in a double-decker bus that drove in front of all the places to go in London. Although we had a great time, we weren't aware of Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee celebration that happened the same weekend we were in London. You could ask why can it be an issue? Well, it was a 4-day bank holiday from Thursday to Sunday. Meaning that most museums were closed and the Buckingham Palace was inaccessible. We saw mainly all the interesting sites so it wasn't that bad. The wedding is in a couple of days and I need to rest before the wedding day and also do my homework :) . Alright Everyone! Stay chill and see you next week!

Week 1

Hello everyone! Well, this is the first time I'm writing in my own blog it sure feels a little weird haha :) . I will be writing anything interesting that happened throughout this summer. In this first week, nothing happened to be honest. It might not feel that great as a first impression for the upcoming weeks but I promise it will be better than this (well at least I'll give it my best try). Alright Everyone! Stay chill!
