Week 8

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! This is the final week. It is (probably) the last time I'm writing and updating this blog. This exercise has been, at first, very complicated as I never really knew what to talk/write about. It was almost frustrating for me. I'm not a person who talks or speaks a lot, therefore maintaining a blog was difficult. And yet, the more the weeks passed, the more I felt confortable about writing. I also had the feeling about not knowing what to talk/write about. But it surprisingly changed after the second week. Updating this blog weekly felt as a chore and a relief at the same time. Thanks to this practice, I'm now more comfortable on talking about important matters or trivial experiences I lived or experienced. So I want to say thank you. Thank you for reading this journey of several weeks (8 weeks actually. Wow!) in my boots. I hope the best for you. Stay chill and take care! ;)

Week 7

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! Sorry for last week, it was It was too tempting to just leave you all on a break because of Independence Day. Now that means I have plenty of things to tell you. Remember I talked about me looking for a new job. Well, that is done! I got interviewed in a cafe and they've hired me as a server! Now, I haven't started to work yet but I can't wait. Having no real experience as a server surely picks my curiosity. Now for my previous job, I left a two-week notice and I need to be honest, it wasn't an easy task. I've worked at that Panera Bread for a little more than six months and I've made several friends there. It was a really chill job with most of my coworkers and regular customers were really nice to me. It was awesome working there but the issue is the distance. It is 40 minutes drive. It is way too much for me now that I've worked long enough to feel the distance almost wasting my time and also gas price not helping there. After all this time, I needed to look for a closer place to work and that is now done. My new workplace is 15 minutes away from where I live. It is more than half the time saved. I'm excited about it. Alright, everyone! Stay chill and see you next week!

Week 6

4TH OF JULY BREAK!!! I'M ON A BREAK!! STAY CHILL, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY AND SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!!

Week 5

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! A week passed since I started looking for a job, and I have great news! I got some interviews to attend this week at different places: one at a warehouse, one in a cafe, and another one as a cashier. If I had to rank them by the one I want the most, it would be the cafe at 1st position - for some reason, I am really curious about working in a cafe as a server - then cashier because I already am one and lastly, at the warehouse. Outside of that, most of my time went into talking to people and looking for a job outside of the homework. Sorry, nothing exciting I agree, but not every week needs to be incredible haha! Stay chill and see you next week!

Week 4

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! As for me, I need some changes in my life. Wow; now, don't freak out alright. What I mean by that is I need to look for another part-time job. I work as a cashier at a Panera Bread but you could ask yourself why? Is it money-wise? The work isn't that great? Have I had any issues there with someone or something? Well, to answer all these questions respectively: No - It was ok - Thankfully not with someone but something, and that is the distance. It takes me 40 minutes to drive to work. Yes, you read it right. 40 MINUTES!! It is totally natural to ask yourself, why would you drive so much JUST for a part-time job. Well, at the time, I was desperately looking for a job so it wasn't an issue at first, but now six months have passed and I start feeling that it is too much. So I've started recently looking and applying for jobs near my place. Wish me best of luck! Stay chill and see you next week!

Week 3

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great week! As for me, we came back from our wedding in England and it was great. The hardest part is coming back from holidays, and live your normal life again... But one thing I can say without a doubt is that I missed my home. So, it's not that bad being back. I mean, of course during summer everyone wants or wishes to go someplace else than where they are and yet, it never feels sad to come back home. Personally, I never went more than a month away from my house for summer holidays. I always enjoy most of my time, but I start feeling some homesickness (if that's even something I don't really know ^^). Now that I'm back, I feel just a little nostalgic from all the events and happy moments I witnessed. But now, it is time to go forward. I have some plans coming up for next week. So stay tuned everyone! See you around!

Week 2

Hello everyone! This week was totaly awesome! I went on a short vacation to Watford in England to visit some family but more importantly for my cousin's marriage. So my family and I left on June 2nd, and for the very first time, we landed in England. It was surprising as I felt everything was compact and small in comparaison to the US. We mainly visited family but also London for the first time. It was the occasion for me to take some pictures - (that you guys can look into the Image Gallery). To be honest, the day we went to London, the weather was really bad. The entire day was cloudy and at the time we did the river cruise, heavy winds shaked our boat. It started being really incomfortable but the rest of the day went smoothly. We hopped in a double-decker bus that drove in front of all the places to go in London. Although we had a great time, we weren't aware of Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee celebration happened the same week-end we were in London. You could ask why can it be an issue? Well, it was a 4-day bank holiday from Thursday to Sunday. Meaning that most museums were closed and the Buckingham Palace was inaccessible. We saw mainly all the interesting sites so it wasn't that bad. The wedding is in a couple of days and I need to rest before the wedding day and also do my homework :) . Alright Everyone! Stay chill and see you next week! Oh before I leave, here's double-decker bus company I was talking about earlier: Big Bus Tours.

Week 1

Hello everyone! Well, this is the first time I'm writing in my own blog it sure feels a little weird haha :) . I will be writing anything interesting that happened throughout this summer. On this first week, nothing really crazy happened. It might not feel that great as a first impression for the upcoming weeks but I promise it will be better than this. Alright Everyone! Stay chill!
